Can I use acid or alkali solutions with BioTek's ELx50 Washer?
For most applications, weak acids and bases can be used. For strong acids and bases such as Sufuric acid or NaOH, solutions that are less than 1 N will not effect the tubing or other components of the washers. However, the tubing may not be able to withstand high concentrations of acids and bases.
